| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2446

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2446 on page 6, |
| 3 |
| after line 21, by inserting the following: |

| "(7) During the effective time period of an order |
| 5 |
| issued under this subsection (a-5), if a recipient is |
| 6 |
| discharged or transferred to another mental health |
| 7 |
| facility, the order may be modified by the court as to the |
| 8 |
| persons authorized to administer the requested |
| 9 |
| psychotropic medications or electroconvulsive therapy. |
| 10 |
| Such a modification shall not require a rehearing on the |
| 11 |
| original petition for an order authorizing the |
| 12 |
| administration of psychotropic medication and |
| 13 |
| electroconvulsive therapy.".
