Amends the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Training Act. Provides that funds may also be appropriated to the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (not just to the University of Illinois at Chicago and Southern Illinois University) for its forensic psychiatry fellowship training program. Effective July 1, 2009.

| AN ACT concerning education.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Training Act |
5 |
| is amended by changing Section 20 as follows: |

| (110 ILCS 46/20)
|

| Sec. 20. Funding. The implementation of this Act is subject |
8 |
| to appropriation. In a given fiscal year, 75% of the total |
9 |
| amount appropriated for the purposes of this Act must be |
10 |
| designated for the University of Illinois at Chicago and 25% of |
11 |
| the total amount appropriated for the purposes of this Act must |
12 |
| be designated for Southern Illinois University. From the |
13 |
| appropriation for the purposes of this Act, the University of |
14 |
| Illinois at Chicago and Southern Illinois University shall |
15 |
| negotiate, with agencies providing supervision for forensic |
16 |
| psychiatric fellows, the reimbursement of the marginal costs |
17 |
| associated with that supervision, unless the University of |
18 |
| Illinois at Chicago or Southern Illinois University is |
19 |
| providing the supervision. Agencies providing supervision to |
20 |
| more than one forensic psychiatric fellow may aggregate these |
21 |
| marginal costs.

| Funds may also be appropriated to the University of |

| Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria for its forensic |
