| AN ACT concerning education.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Public Community College Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 2-6 as follows:
|

| Sec. 2-6.
In accordance with the
the provisions of "An Act |

| to create the State
Universities Civil Service System,"

| approved May 11, 1905, as now or hereafter amended, the Board |

| shall
employ and fix the compensation of an executive officer |
| 11 |
| and such
employees as it deems necessary for the purposes of |

| this Act. |
