    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section 
5
10-22.26 as follows:

    Sec. 10-22.26. School Lunch Program - Purchase of

Equipment. To maintain and
and operate a school lunch program 
9
in accordance with
applicable regulations of the State Board of 
10
Education and
agencies of the United States government.

Equipment to be used in the
school lunch program shall be paid 
12
for from the operations and
maintenance fund of the district or 
13
from any surplus remaining in the
school lunch account at the 
14
end of the school term.
