| AN ACT concerning regulation.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by changing |
| 5 |
| Section 13-214 as follows:
|

| (220 ILCS 5/13-214) (from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 13-214)

| (Section scheduled to be repealed on July 1, 2009)

| Sec. 13-214.
(a) "Public mobile services" means |
| 9 |
| air-to-ground radio
telephone services, cellular radio |
| 10 |
| telecommunications services, offshore
radio, rural radio |
| 11 |
| service, public land mobile telephone service and
and other
|
| 12 |
| common carrier radio communications services. |
| 13 |
| (b) "Private radio services" means private land mobile |
| 14 |
| radio services
and other communications services characterized |
| 15 |
| by the Commission as
private radio services.
