Makes appropriations to Western Illinois University for ordinary and contingent expenses and scholarship grant awards. Effective July 1, 2009.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of Western Illinois University for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010:
For Personal Services, including payment to
the University for personal services costs
incurred during the fiscal year............ $52,132,300
For Social Security.............................. 446,200
For Contractual Services....................... 3,346,300
For Commodities.................................. 800,000
For Equipment and Library Books................ 1,000,000
For Telecommunications........................... 450,000
For Group Insurance............................ 1,744,800
Total $59,919,600
Section 10. The amount of $10,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University for scholarship grant awards from the sale of collegiate license plates.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
