    AN ACT concerning education.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The School Code is amended  by adding Sections 
5
10-20.46 and 34-18.37 as follows:

    (105 ILCS 5/10-20.46  new)

    Sec. 10-20.46. Superintendent compensation benefits; 
8
report.  Each school board shall itemize all compensation 
9
benefits for district superintendents and report this 
10
information to the State Board of Education, which shall make 
11
this information available to the public.

    Sec. 34-18.37. Superintendent compensation benefits; 
14
report.  The board shall itemize all compensation benefits for 
15
the general superintendent of schools or chief executive 
16
officer and report this information to the State Board of 
17
Education, which shall make this information available to the 
18
public.
