    Amends the Illinois Plumbing License Law. Prohibits the use of  any water-powered sump pump, as defined by the Department, in the State.

    AN ACT concerning plumbing.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Plumbing License Law is amended  by 
5
adding Section 35.5 as follows:

    (225 ILCS 320/35.5  new)

    Sec. 35.5. Water-powered sump pumps prohibited.

Notwithstanding any other provision in this Act or any rule 
9
promulgated pursuant to this Act, the use of any water-powered 
10
sump pump, as defined by the Department, shall be prohibited in 
11
the State.
