Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that no company that is authorized to do business in this State and that issues policies for life or accident and health may attach a waiver of benefits or any coverage exceptions for acts of war or acts of terrorism to any such policy that is issued to a person who is employed in any capacity by a nuclear power plant.

| AN ACT concerning insurance.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by adding |
| 5 |
| Section 143.10d as follows:
|

| (215 ILCS 5/143.10d new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 143.10d. Nuclear power plant employees. No company |
| 8 |
| that is authorized to do business in this State and that issues |
| 9 |
| policies for life or accident and health or transacts the kinds |
| 10 |
| of business described in Classes 1(a), 1(b), and 2(a) of |
| 11 |
| Section 4 of this Act may attach a waiver of benefits or any |
| 12 |
| coverage exceptions for acts of war or acts of terrorism to any |
| 13 |
| such policy that is issued to a person who is employed in any |
| 14 |
| capacity by a nuclear power plant.
