1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4054

2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4054 on page 18, by | ||||||
3 | replacing lines 17 through 23 with the following: | ||||||
4 | " yet attained the age of 21. The Department shall have | ||||||
5 | responsibility for the development and delivery of services | ||||||
6 | under this Section. An eligible youth may access services under | ||||||
7 | this Section through the Department of Children and Family | ||||||
8 | Services or by referral from the Department of Human Services. | ||||||
9 | Youth participating "; and | ||||||
10 | on page 19, by replacing lines 8 through 12 with the following: | ||||||
11 | " Children and Family Services shall create clear, readable | ||||||
12 | notice of the rights of former foster youth to child welfare | ||||||
13 | services under this Section and how such services may be | ||||||
14 | obtained. The Department of Children and Family Services and | ||||||
15 | the Department of Human Services shall disseminate this | ||||||
16 | information statewide. The Department shall adopt | ||||||
17 | regulations "; and

2 | "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January | ||||||
3 | 1, 2010.".
