    Amends the State Finance Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title. Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title. Amends the Property Tax Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the definition of "taxing district". Amends the School Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the School Code's construction.

1     AN ACT concerning education.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by changing
5 Section 1.1 as follows:
 
6     (30 ILCS 105/1.1)  (from Ch. 127, par. 137.1)
7     Sec. 1.1. This Act shall be known and and may be cited as
8 the "State Finance Act".

10     Section 10. The Illinois Income Tax Act is amended by
11 changing Section 101 as follows:
 
12     (35 ILCS 5/101)  (from Ch. 120, par. 1-101)
13     Sec. 101. Short title. This Act shall be known and may be
14 cited as the the "Illinois Income Tax Act."

16     Section 15. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
17 Section 1-150 as follows:

19     Sec. 1-150. Taxing District. Any unit of local government,

1 school district or community college district with the the
2 power to levy taxes.

4     Section 20. The School Code is amended by changing Section
5 1-2 as follows:
 
6     (105 ILCS 5/1-2)  (from Ch. 122, par. 1-2)
7     Sec. 1-2. Construction. The provisions of this Act, so far
8 as they are the same as those of any prior statute, shall be
9 construed as a continuation of such prior provisions, and not
10 as a new enactment.
11     If in any other statute reference is made to an Act of the
12 the General Assembly, or a section of such an Act, which is
13 continued in this School Code, such reference shall be held to
14 refer to the Act or section thereof so continued in this Code.
