| AN ACT concerning veterans.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Department of Veterans Affairs Act is |
| 5 |
| amended by adding Section 2.11 as follows:
|

| (20 ILCS 2805/2.11 new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 2.11. Advertising for employees at veterans medical |
| 8 |
| facilities. The Department may spend up to $30,000 per fiscal |
| 9 |
| year for the purpose of advertising seeking employees to fill |
| 10 |
| open positions at veterans medical facilities.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 12 |
| becoming law.
