        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 20.  The amount of $42,826,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of business on June 30, 2009, from an appropriation heretofore made for such purpose in Article 7, Section 20 of Public Act 95-734, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for Textbook Loans pursuant to Section 18-17 of the School Code.

 

    Section 25.  The amount of $600,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for all costs associated with the Community Residental Services Authority.

 

    Section 30.  The amount of $1,600,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Teacher Certificate Fee Revolving Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for Teacher Certificates Processing.

 

    Section 35.  The amount of $1,008,900, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Teacher Certificate Institute Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education.

 

    Section 40.  The amount of $8,484,800, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Board of Education Special Purpose Trust Fund to the State Board of Education for expenditures by the Board in accordance with grants, gifts or donations that the Board has received or may receive from any source, public or private, in support of projects that are within the lawful powers of the Board.

 

    Section 45.  The amount of $7,015,200, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Board of Education Special Purpose Trust Fund to the State Board of Education for its ordinary and contingent expenses.

 

    Section 50.  The amount of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund for deposit into the Temporary Relocation Expenses Revolving Grant Fund for use by the State Board of Education as provided in Section 2-3.77 of the School Code.

 

    Section 55.  The amount of $500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for all costs associated with implementation of the State Board of Education Strategic Plan.

 

    Section 60.  The sum of $4,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for costs associated with the Re-Enrolling Students Alternative Schools Network.

 

  Section 65.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the State Board of Education for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009:

From the General Revenue Fund:

  For Bilingual Education (over 500,000

    population), Sec. 34-18.2 of the

  For Bilingual Education (under 500,000

    population), Sec. 14C-12 of

    Section 70.  The amount of $32,514,200, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for Student Assessments, including Bilingual Assessments.

 

    Section 75.  The amount of $23,780,300, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Board of Education Federal Department of Education Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for Student Assessments.

 

    Section 80.  The amount of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for all costs associated with the Response to Intervention Initiative.

 

    Section 85.  The amount of $495,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for all costs associated with Educator Misconduct Investigations.

 

    Section 90.  The amount of $2,500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for all costs associated with the On-Line Database.

 

    Section 95.  The amount of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for all costs associated with the Longitudinal Data System.

 

    Section 100.  The amount of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for all costs associated with the American Diploma Project and Standards, Materials and Training for Teachers.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
