Amends the Illinois Pension Code. In the Retirement Systems Reciprocal Act, requires each
participating system to submit to the other participating systems quarterly (rather than to submit to other participating systems, upon request) a report, properly certified, regarding the
pension credits of each employee and any other pertinent information that may be
necessary for proper administration of the Article and requires the report be transmitted, at a minimum, in an electronic format. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by changing |
5 |
| Section 20-126 as follows:
|

| Sec. 20-126. Responsibility of participating systems. Each
|
8 |
| participating system shall submit to the other participating |
9 |
| systems,
on a quarterly basis upon request , a report, properly |
10 |
| certified, regarding the
pension credits of each employee and |
11 |
| any other pertinent information which may be
necessary for |
12 |
| proper administration of this Article. The report required |
13 |
| under this Section shall be transmitted, at a minimum, in an |
14 |
| electronic format.

| Section 90. The State Mandates Act is amended by adding |

| Section 8.33 as follows: |

| Sec. 8.33. Exempt mandate. Notwithstanding Sections 6 and 8 |

| of this Act, no reimbursement by the State is required for the |
21 |
| implementation of any mandate created by this amendatory Act of |
