SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $7,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to EdgeAlliance for costs associated with the construction of a 36-unit permanent supporting housing facility. Appropriates $4,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to EdgeAlliance for costs associated with the construction of a health and wellness center for use by EdgeAlliance residents and residents who are veterans. Effective July 1, 2009.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $7,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to EdgeAlliance for costs associated with the construction of a 36-unit permanent supporting housing facility.
Section 10. The sum of $4,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to EdgeAlliance for costs associated with the construction of a health and wellness center for use by EdgeAlliance residents and residents who are veterans.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
