| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4657, on page 4, |

| line 11, by replacing "(iv)" with "plus an amount determined by |

| the board to be equal to the employer's normal cost of the |

| benefit, plus interest at the actuarially assumed rate, (iv)"; |

| and
|

| on page 4, line 13, by replacing lines 13 through 15 with the |
| 8 |
| following: |

| "granted under this subdivision (4), and (v) the |
| 10 |
| firefighter applies within 6 months after the effective |
| 11 |
| date of this amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly.".
