AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4727

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4727 on page 2, by

replacing lines 16 through 26 with the following:

        "(1)  If the total amount of money involved in the 
5
    violation does not exceed $300, the violation is a Class 4 
6
    felony.

        (2)  If the total amount of money involved in the 
8
    violation is more than $300, but does not exceed  $10,000, 
9
    the violation is a Class 2 felony.

        (3) If the total amount of money involved in the 
11
    violation is more than $10,000 but does not exceed 
12
    $100,000, the violation is a Class 1 felony.

        (4)  If the total amount of money involved in the 
14
    violation is more than $100,000, the violation is a Class X 
15
    felony."; and
