Appropriates $450,000 from the Downstate Public Transportation Fund to the Department of Transportation for a grant to Whiteside County Public Transportation. Effective July 1, 2010.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The following named sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Downstate Public Transportation Fund to the Department of Transportation for operating assistance grants to provide a portion of the eligible operating expenses for the following carrier for the purposes stated in Article II of Public Act 78-1109, as amended:
Whiteside County Public Transportation.......... $450,000
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2010.
