2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5107, AS AMENDED, | ||||||
3 | with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. | ||||||
4 | 1, as follows: | ||||||
5 | on page 2, line 17, by replacing " fraud. " with " fraud, or in | ||||||
6 | cases in which the provider has already been paid in full by | ||||||
7 | another payor or by a workers' compensation insurer. "; and

8 | on page 2, line 19, immediately after " Section. ", by inserting | ||||||
9 | " Nothing in this Section shall be construed to preclude | ||||||
10 | insurers, health maintenance organizations, independent | ||||||
11 | practice associations, or physician hospital organizations | ||||||
12 | from resolving coordination of benefits between or among each | ||||||
13 | other without recouping payment from the provider beyond the | ||||||
14 | 366 day time limit provided in this subsection. ".
