| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5183 as follows:

| on page 40, by inserting immediately below line 8 the |
| 4 |
| following: |

| "(e) The EMS Assistance Fund shall not be subject to |
| 6 |
| sweeps, administrative charges, or chargebacks, including, but |
| 7 |
| not limited to, those authorized under Section 8h of the State |
| 8 |
| Finance Act, that would in any way result in the transfer of |
| 9 |
| any funds from this Fund to any other fund of this State or in |
| 10 |
| having any such funds utilized for any purpose other than the |
| 11 |
| express purposes set forth in this Section.".
