| AN ACT concerning employment.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the |
5 |
| Employment Application Act. |
6 |
| Section 5. Definition. In this Act, "employer" means an |
7 |
| individual, corporation, partnership, labor organization,
|
8 |
| unincorporated association, the State, an agency or a political |
9 |
| subdivision
of the State, or any other legal, business, or |
10 |
| commercial entity that employs one or more persons. |
11 |
| Section 10. Form of application for employment. An employer |
12 |
| may not require that applications for employment be submitted |
13 |
| only online or in another electronic format.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
15 |
| becoming law.
