| everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| "Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section |

| 18-8.06 as follows:

| (105 ILCS 5/18-8.06 new) |

| Sec. 18-8.06. Compensation greater than State |

| Superintendent of Education; prohibition of aid. For contracts |
| 9 |
| entered into after July 1, 2010, a school district that |
| 10 |
| compensates its administrators, faculty, teachers, or other |
| 11 |
| personnel more than the State Superintendent of Education is |
| 12 |
| prohibited from receiving aid under Section 18-8.05 of this |
| 13 |
| Code.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 15 |
| 2010.".
