| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5188

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5188 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section | ||||||
| 5 | 18-8.06 as follows: | ||||||
| 6 | (105 ILCS 5/18-8.06 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 18-8.06. Compensation greater than State | ||||||
| 8 | Superintendent of Education; prohibition of aid. For contracts | ||||||
| 9 | entered into after July 1, 2010, a school district that | ||||||
| 10 | compensates its administrators, faculty, teachers, or other | ||||||
| 11 | personnel more than the State Superintendent of Education is | ||||||
| 12 | prohibited from receiving aid under Section 18-8.05 of this | ||||||
| 13 | Code.
| ||||||
| 14 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, | ||||||
| 15 | 2010.".
