AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5250

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5250 by replacing

everything after the enacting clause with the following:

    "Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended  by 
5
adding Section 368g as follows:

    (215 ILCS 5/368g new)

    Sec. 368g. Contracting entity responsibilities. A 
8
contracting entity, insurer, or third-party administrator who 
9
grants access to a provider's health care services and 
10
contractual discounts pursuant to a provider network contract 
11
shall identify and provide to the provider, at the time a 
12
provider network contract is entered into with a provider, a 
13
written or electronic list of all third parties to whom the 
14
contracting entity has or will grant access to the provider's 
15
health care services and contractual discounts pursuant to a 
16
provider network contract.".
