    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Nursing Home Grant Assistance Act is amended  
5
by changing Section 10 as follows:

    Sec. 10. Nursing Home Grant Assistance Program. There is

8
created a grant grant assistance program to provide financial

9
support for eligible individuals who reside in nursing homes

10
and who do not have their
nursing home care paid for, in whole 
11
or in part, by a
federal, State, or combined federal-State 
12
medical care
program, except as provided in Section 15.  The 
13
program shall apply only to
State fiscal year 1993.
