 Makes appropriations to the Department of Agriculture from the Agricultural Premium Fund and Fair and Exposition Fund in the amounts of $6,166,590 and $1,119,117, respectively, for County Fairs and Fair and Exposition Authorities.

$AGRICULTURE-FAIRS

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  The following named amounts are appropriated to the Department of Agriculture from the specified Funds for County Fairs and Fair and Expositions Authorities:

Payable from the Agricultural Premium Fund:

  For distribution to encourage and aid county

    fairs and other agricultural societies...... $2,314,332

  For premiums to agricultural extension or 4-H

    clubs to be distributed at a uniform rate..... $932,558

  For rehabilitation of

    county fairgrounds.......................... $2,523,940

  For agricultural education programs approved

    by the Department of Agriculture.............. $395,760

    Total                                          $6,166,590

Payable from the Fair and Exposition Fund:

  For distribution to County Fairs and Fair

    Exposition Authorities...................... $1,119,117

    Total                                          $1,119,117
