| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5675

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5675 on page 3, by | ||||||
| 3 | inserting below line 9 the following: | ||||||
| 4 | "A law enforcement officer driving a police vehicle may | ||||||
| 5 | exceed the posted speed limit without using sirens and activate | ||||||
| 6 | oscillating, rotating, or flashing
lights when the officer is | ||||||
| 7 | attempting to determine the speed of another vehicle that the | ||||||
| 8 | officer has a reasonable suspicion is exceeding the posted | ||||||
| 9 | maximum speed limit, but in no event shall the officer be | ||||||
| 10 | permitted to exceed 80 miles per hour.".
