| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5675 on page 3, by |

| inserting below line 9 the following: |

| "A law enforcement officer driving a police vehicle may |
| 5 |
| exceed the posted speed limit without using sirens and activate |
| 6 |
| oscillating, rotating, or flashing
lights when the officer is |
| 7 |
| attempting to determine the speed of another vehicle that the |
| 8 |
| officer has a reasonable suspicion is exceeding the posted |
| 9 |
| maximum speed limit, but in no event shall the officer be |
| 10 |
| permitted to exceed 80 miles per hour.".
