Amends the Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Act. Provides that the Department of Healthcare and Family Services shall provide written reports to the General Assembly that detail the number of individuals enrolled in the Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Program with undocumented citizenship. Provides that the initial report shall include historical enrollment figures that show the number of undocumented enrollees for each year that the Program has been in operation as well as the fiscal cost of providing coverage to the undocumented portion of the Program. Provides that for the purposes of the report, the annual enrollment and cost estimates shall be based on State fiscal years, with the first report due January 1, 2011 and subsequent reports due on January 1 of each year thereafter. Effective immediately.

| AN ACT concerning insurance.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Act is |
5 |
| amended by adding Section 17 as follows: |

| (215 ILCS 170/17 new) |
7 |
| Sec. 17. Enrollment reports to the General Assembly. |
8 |
| (a) The Department shall provide written reports to the |
9 |
| General Assembly that detail the number of individuals enrolled |
10 |
| in the Program with undocumented citizenship. |
11 |
| (b) The initial report shall include historical enrollment |
12 |
| figures that show the number of undocumented enrollees for each |
13 |
| year that the Program has been in operation as well as the |
14 |
| fiscal cost of providing coverage to the undocumented portion |
15 |
| of the Program. |

| (c) For the purposes of the report, the annual enrollment |
17 |

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |

| becoming law.
