| AN ACT concerning public health.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and |
| 5 |
| Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |
| 6 |
| amended by adding Section 2310-655 as follows:
|

| (20 ILCS 2310/2310-655 new) |
| 8 |
| Sec. 2310-655. Technical assistance on playgrounds. The |
| 9 |
| Department of Public Health shall provide technical assistance |
| 10 |
| materials based on guidelines or standards such as the U.S. |
| 11 |
| Consumer Product Safety Commission's guidelines, the U.S. |
| 12 |
| Access Board final guidelines, or the standards of the American |
| 13 |
| Society for Testing and Materials by June 30, 2011. The |
| 14 |
| materials may be available on the Department's website. |
| 15 |
| Nothing in this Section shall be construed as imposing any |
| 16 |
| mandate concerning equipment in restaurants or dwellings.
