    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Mercury Switch Removal Act is amended  by 
5
changing Section 55 as follows:

    (415 ILCS 97/55)

    (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2011)

    Sec. 55. Repealer. This Act is repealed on January 1, 2017 
9
2011.
