| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 6252 by replacing |

| everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| "Section 5. The Fireworks Use Act is amended by adding |

| Section 6 as follows:

| (425 ILCS 35/6 new) |

| Sec. 6. Billboard advertising of fireworks. |

| (a) All outdoor billboard advertisements for fireworks |
| 9 |
| shall bear the following statement: |

| WARNING: Illinois Law Prohibits the Possession of Fire |
| 11 |
| Works by the General Public. Check with Local Fire |
| 12 |
| Department/Law Enforcement Prior to Purchase. |
| 13 |
| (b) Such warning shall appear in the format and type style |
| 14 |
| prescribed under 15 U.S.C. 1333 (b)(3), as amended. |

| (c) Any outdoor billboard advertisement that does not |
| 16 |
| conform to the provisions of this Section shall be deemed a |
