AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 6419

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 6419, on page 2,

lines 12 and 13, by replacing "sources" each time it appears 
4
with "resources"; and

on page 7, line 18, by replacing "a certificate of approval" 
6
with "an acknowledgement of filing"; and
 
7
on page 12, line 26, by replacing "may" with "do not"; and
 
8
on page 13, line 1, after the period, by inserting "Provided, 
9
however, that the production, interconnection, transmission, 
10
distribution, and sale at wholesale or retail of electric 
11
energy generated by the eligible project must be in accordance 
12
with all laws, regulations, and rules applicable to generators 
13
of electricity, alternative retail electric suppliers, 
14
municipal utilities, or electric cooperatives, as applicable, 
15
but further provided that this provision does not affect any

exemption otherwise available under the Public Utilities

Act."; and

on page 21, line 14, after "reasonable", by inserting ", except

that such agency shall not sell electricity to end-use

customers otherwise than in accordance with the provisions of

the Public Utilities Act, but further provided that this 
7
provision does not affect any exemption otherwise available to

the agency under the Public Utilities Act"; and

on page 23, line 23, by replacing "may" with "do not"; and

on page 23, line 24, after the period, by inserting "Provided, 
11
