| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 6449 by replacing |

| everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| "Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by |

| changing Section 1-147 as follows:

| (625 ILCS 5/1-147) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 1-147) |

| Sec. 1-147. Motorcycle. |
| 8 |
| Every motor vehicle having a seat or saddle for the use of |
| 9 |
| the rider and
designed to travel on not more than 3 wheels in |
| 10 |
| contact with the ground,
but excluding a tractor. "Motorcycle" |
| 11 |
| also includes a motor vehicle that: is designed to travel |
| 12 |
| primarily on highways; has a seat or saddle for the use of the |
| 13 |
| rider; and is designed to travel on 4 wheels in contact with |
| 14 |
| the ground. |
