| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 6449

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 6449 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by | ||||||
| 5 | changing Section 1-147 as follows: | ||||||
| 6 | (625 ILCS 5/1-147) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 1-147) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 1-147. Motorcycle. | ||||||
| 8 | Every motor vehicle having a seat or saddle for the use of | ||||||
| 9 | the rider and
designed to travel on not more than 3 wheels in | ||||||
| 10 | contact with the ground,
but excluding a tractor. "Motorcycle" | ||||||
| 11 | also includes a motor vehicle that: is designed to travel | ||||||
| 12 | primarily on highways; has a seat or saddle for the use of the | ||||||
| 13 | rider; and is designed to travel on 4 wheels in contact with | ||||||
| 14 | the ground. | ||||||
