AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 6464

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 6464 on page 1, line 
3
11, by replacing "registered" with "required to register"; and

on page 2, by inserting immediately below line 4 the following:
5
    "This subsection (c) shall not be construed to allow a 
6
child sex offender to knowingly reside within 500 feet of the 
7
minor victim of the sex offense if prohibited by subsection 
8
(b-6) of Section 11-9.4 of this Code."; and

on page 2, by inserting immediately below line 6 the following:
10
    "(e)  Nothing in this Section shall prohibit the filing of a 
11
petition or the instituting of any proceeding under Article II 
12
of the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 relating to abused minors.";

and

on page 3, line 18, by inserting after "child" the following:

", provided that his or her own child is not the victim of the
