    AN ACT concerning business.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Assumed Business Name Act is amended by 
5
changing Section 3 as follows:

    Sec. 3. 
The
The several County Clerks of this State shall 
8
keep an alphabetical
index of all persons filing certificates 
9
pursuant to Sections 1 and 2,
and for the indexing and filing 
10
of such certificate shall receive a fee of
$5.00. A copy of 
11
such certificate and receipt for proof of publication,
duly 
12
certified to by the County Clerk in whose office the 
13
certificate is
filed, shall be presumptive evidence in all 
14
courts of law in this State of
the facts therein contained.
