AMENDMENT TO HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 111

    AMENDMENT NO. ___. Amend House Joint Resolution 111 as

follows:

on page 2, by replacing lines 13 through 22 with the following:

    "RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
6
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE 
7
SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that we urge the Perinatal Advisory 
8
Committee within the Illinois Department of Public Health to 
9
put forth a focus on proactive measures to prevent prematurity; 
10
and be it further
 
11
    RESOLVED, That the Perinatal Advisory Committee shall 
12
expand its membership to include a representative of the 
13
Illinois Department of Human Services, a representative of the 
14
Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, a 
15
representative of an organization whose main focus is on 
16
preterm births; 2 members of the Illinois House of

Representatives, one of whom shall be named by the Speaker of

the House, and one of whom shall be named by the Minority

Leader of the House; and 2 members of the Senate, one of whom

further"; and

on page 3, by deleting lines 1 through 11; and

on page 3, line 12, by replacing "task force" with "Perinatal
