AMENDMENT TO HOUSE RESOLUTION 42

    AMENDMENT NO. ___.  Amend House Resolution 42 on page 2, by

replacing line 20 with the following:

    WHEREAS, The Illinois Eating Disorders Coalition, the

Illinois Psychiatric Society, the Illinois Psychological 
7
Association, the Mental Health Summit, the National 
8
Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, and

the National Eating Disorder Association joined together to 
10
support the inclusion of anorexia nervosa and bulimia on the 
11
list of serious mental illnesses that qualify for coverage 
12
under applicable health insurance plans, as enacted by the 
13
Ninety-Fifth General Assembly in Public Act 95-973; therefore, 
14
be it"
