| BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |

| urge the Department of Public Health to establish a |
| 5 |
| comprehensive plan to slow the spread of human immunodeficiency |
| 6 |
| virus (HIV) and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) in |
| 7 |
| this State by the year 2010; and be it further
|
| 8 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution by |
| 9 |
| delivered to the Department of Public Health.
