| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, One of the great attractions of the Lake |
| 3 |
| Shelbyville area is tourism; the area has been working to |
| 4 |
| increase tourism and promote the lake; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, As a result of cooperative efforts to bolster |
| 6 |
| tourism at Lake Shelbyville and surrounding areas, the Sixth |
| 7 |
| Annual Spores 'N More Mushroom Festival will be held on April |
| 8 |
| 24 and 25, 2009; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The Festival is being sponsored by the five Lake |
| 10 |
| Shelbyville-area municipalities of Findlay, Sullivan, Bethany, |
| 11 |
| Windsor, and Shelbyville; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The events to be held include a mushroom soup |
| 13 |
| dinner, a bake and craft sale, a parade, plant sales, pancake |
| 14 |
| breakfasts, a business expo, and a fire awareness program; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, The highlight of this year's festival will be a |
| 16 |
| morel mushroom hunt and mushroom auction, with awards presented |
| 17 |
| to the most, the biggest, and the smallest in each category, as |
| 18 |
| well as the Overall Grand Champion; therefore, be it
|
| 19 |
