| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Philip Sparks of |
| 4 |
| Boy Scout Troop 66 on the occasion of attaining the coveted |
| 5 |
| rank of Eagle Scout; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, Philip Sparks |
| 7 |
| refurbished 20 donated computers and installed them in two |
| 8 |
| parochial schools in his community; thanks to his efforts, the |
| 9 |
| schools were able to provide a needed upgrade to their computer |
| 10 |
| systems; in total, Mr. Sparks and his team of Scouts gave |
| 11 |
| nearly 200 hours of dedicated volunteer service to their |
| 12 |
| community during the project; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout will be bestowed upon |
| 14 |
| Philip Sparks by the Boy Scouts of America at a Court of Honor |
| 15 |
| ceremony on May 25, 2009; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Philip Sparks serves as a model of hard work, |
| 17 |
| integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of |
| 18 |
| Illinois; therefore, be it
