| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Aiyang Jiang on the |
| 4 |
| occasion of winning the Siemens Award for Advanced Placement; |
| 5 |
| and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, The Siemens Awards for Advanced Placement are |
| 7 |
| awarded each year to students with the greatest number of |
| 8 |
| scores of 5 on eight AP math and science exams, as well as to |
| 9 |
| teachers and schools based on student participation and |
| 10 |
| performance in Advanced Placement math, science, and |
| 11 |
| technology courses; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The exams that students are tested on are on |
| 13 |
| Biology, Calculus BC, Chemistry, Computer Science AB, |
| 14 |
| Environmental Science, Physics C: Mechanics, Physics C: |
| 15 |
| Electricity and Magnetism, and Statistics, with qualifying |
| 16 |
| students earning a score of 5 on two of the exams; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Aiyang Jiang serves as a model of hard work, |
| 18 |
| integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of |
| 19 |
| Illinois; therefore, be it
