| WHEREAS, Illinois Ventures, LLC is a component unit of the |

| University of Illinois; and
|
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, This State has appropriated funds to the |
| 5 |
| University of Illinois for Illinois Ventures, LLC; therefore, |
| 6 |
| be it
|
| 7 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 8 |
| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 9 |
| request that the Auditor General conduct a financial audit and |
| 10 |
| compliance examination of Illinois Ventures, LLC and report his |
| 11 |
| findings to the General Assembly; and be it further
|
| 12 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 13 |
| delivered to the Auditor General.
