| BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 4 |
| the Board of Higher Education (i) develop a model trustee |
| 5 |
| curriculum for public university board of trustee members, (ii) |
| 6 |
| conduct mandatory training for current and future trustees on |
| 7 |
| the proper role of a trustee, and (iii) report to the General |
| 8 |
| Assembly on a set of expectations for an appropriate |
| 9 |
| procurement policy for each public university; and be it |
| 10 |
| further
|
| 11 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 12 |
| delivered to the Board of Higher Education.
