| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the pastor and |
| 4 |
| congregation of Grace Missionary Church in Zion on the 100th |
| 5 |
| anniversary of the church; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, The church held an anniversary celebration on the |
| 7 |
| weekend of June 13-14, 2009 with a Centennial Banquet focusing |
| 8 |
| on the Missions ministries; displays, reports, and appearance |
| 9 |
| by former and current missionaries were available for the |
| 10 |
| attendees; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Guests included Roger Skinner, missionary |
| 12 |
| statesman, and former pastors Robert Zimmer and Leland Skinner; |
| 13 |
| therefore, be it
|
| 14 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 15 |
| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 16 |
| congratulate the pastor and congregation of Grace Missionary |
| 17 |
| Church in Zion and wish them continued blessings for years to |
| 18 |
| come; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 |
| presented to Pastor Doug Carlson as a symbol of our respect and |
| 21 |
| esteem.
