| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
Reverend |
| 4 |
| Leonard Barr; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Rev. Leonard Barr served the congregation of the |
| 6 |
| Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago for many years, |
| 7 |
| selflessly devoting his time and energy to the church's many |
| 8 |
| ministries; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Rev. Leonard Barr was the host of the television |
| 10 |
| talk show "Report to the People" on Cable Channel 25 in |
| 11 |
| Chicago; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Rev. Leonard Barr was well known throughout his |
| 13 |
| community as a man whose great empathy for those in need and |
| 14 |
| willingness to help all who needed assistance endeared him to |
| 15 |
| everyone he met; therefore, be it
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 |
| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 18 |
| mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Rev. |
| 19 |
| Leonard Barr; and be it further
