HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Lin-Mar Motors in 
4
Morton Grove on fifty-plus years of service to the community; 
5
and

 
6
    WHEREAS, Lin-Mar Motors was started by Wally Lundin and has 
7
become a one-stop automotive service business, taking care of 
8
the needs of car owners in the Morton Grove area; and

 
9
    WHEREAS, Wally's son, Ron Lundin, purchased the business in 
10
1992 and expanded the business with the acquisition of Eckhardt 
11
Glass and Upholstery, making Lin-Mar Motors an even bigger 
12
full-service automotive service center; and

 
13
    WHEREAS, Ron and his sons, Ron Jr. and Tony, his wife, Pam, 
14
and his daughter, are all involved in the family business; and

 
15
    WHEREAS, In 2004 Lin-Mar Motors was named the business of 
16
the year by the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry; 
17
and

 
18
    WHEREAS, Ron Lundin served as the President of the Morton 
19
Grove Chamber of Commerce in 2006, and supports the Morton 
20
Grove Foundation, the LaPoni Foundation, the Cerebral Palsy

Union, and many other local organizations; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
4
congratulate Lin-Mar Motors owner Ron Lundin and his staff on 
5
fifty-plus years of service and wish them the best for the 
6
future; and be it further

 
7
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8
presented to Lin-Mar Motors owner Ron Lundin as a symbol of our 
9
respect.
