HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, Windsor Elementary School has been  awarded the 
3
Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence by the United States Department 
4
of Education; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Windsor students placed in the top 10% on State 
6
tests, making the school one of only 6 schools in the State to 
7
do so; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, Windsor's staff has a dedicated commitment to its 
9
students through the application of research-based knowledge 
10
and quality assessments; and
  
 
11
    WHEREAS, The Windsor family of faculty, students, and 
12
parents work together to promote family values and community 
13
involvement; and
  
 
14
    WHEREAS, Windsor School has fulfilled its mission to 
15
provide a superior education for life-long learners; and
  
 
16
    WHEREAS, Windsor School has once again lived up to its 
17
motto of "Respect, Responsibility, and Resourcefulness"; 
18
therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

congratulate the administration, faculty, and students of 
3
Windsor Elementary School in Arlington Heights on the occasion 
4
of its designation as a Blue Ribbon School and wish them 
5
continued success and happiness in the future; and be it 
6
further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8
presented to Windsor Elementary School as a symbol of our 
9
esteem and respect.
