| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate John Douglas |
| 4 |
| Campbell of Boy Scout Troop 77 in Gurnee on the occasion of |
| 5 |
| attaining the coveted rank of Eagle Scout; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, John is a member of the Order of the Arrow and |
| 7 |
| earned the Parvuli Dei religious award while serving as a Cub |
| 8 |
| Scout and the Ad Altare Dei religious award as a Boy Scout; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, John Campbell |
| 10 |
| undertook the plan to execute a blood drive which collected |
| 11 |
| over 35 units of blood for the Gurnee Blood Center; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, He has been involved in scouting since the second |
| 13 |
| grade and earned the Arrow of Light as a Cub Scout, the highest |
| 14 |
| award available as a Cub Scout; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout will be bestowed upon John |
| 16 |
| Campbell by the Boy Scouts of America at a Court of Honor |
| 17 |
| ceremony on January 3, 2010; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, John Campbell serves as a model of hard work, |
| 19 |
| integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of |
| 20 |
| Illinois; therefore, be it
