HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Brendan Winter of 
4
Boy Scout Troop 77 in Gurnee on the occasion of attaining the 
5
coveted rank of Eagle Scout; and

 
6
    WHEREAS, To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, Brendan Winter 
7
undertook the project of working with the landscaping and 
8
wheelchair ramp at Northpointe Resources, Inc. and Wildwood 
9
House; and


 
10
    WHEREAS, Brendan finished work on the wheelchair ramp, 
11
adding lattice work under the ramp; in addition, he designed 
12
new landscaping, removed dead trees, branches, and other 
13
debris, and planted new trees, bushes, and flowers; and
 
14
    WHEREAS, Brendan began his scouting career in the second 
15
grade as a Cub Scout; and
 
16
    WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout will be bestowed upon 
17
Brendan Winter by the Boy Scouts of America at a Court of Honor 
18
ceremony on January 3, 2010; and
 
19
    WHEREAS, Brendan Winter serves as a model of hard work, 
20
integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of

    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
4
congratulate Brendan Winter of Boy Scout Troop 77 on the 
5
occasion of attaining the coveted rank of Eagle Scout and wish 
6
him continued success and happiness in the future; and be it 
7
further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9
presented to Brendan Winter as a symbol of our esteem and 
10
respect.
