| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the |

| Carrollton Junior High Lady Hawks basketball team on the |

| occasion of winning the 7th Grade Class 1A State Tournament; |

| and

| WHEREAS, The Carrollton Junior High Lady Hawks defeated |

| Sigel St. Michaels 24-21 to win the 7th Grade Class 1A State |
| 9 |
| Tournament in Normal on December 10, 2009; the team finished |

| its season with an incredible 20-1 record; and

| WHEREAS, The members of the Carrollton Junior High Lady |

| Hawks are Madelyn Cummins, Kara Evans, Alexa Hillis, Jessica |

| Lake, Jordyn Lurton, Samantha McPherson, Madison Mountain, |

| Christina Newton, Frankie Packer, Macy Pohlman, McKenzie |
| 15 |
| Ruyle, Kayla Schmidt, Madison Struble, Katie Taylor, Olivia |

| Waters, Michaela Weber, and Rachel Williams; the team's head |
