| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, During the 95th General Assembly, House |
| 3 |
| Resolution 1059 created a Fire Stop Council under the Office of |
| 4 |
| the State Fire Marshal to examine the current state of fire |
| 5 |
| stop systems in Illinois, encourage education training, and |
| 6 |
| promote awareness of the importance of proper fire stop system |
| 7 |
| installation and inspection; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, The council is required to report its findings and |
| 9 |
| recommendations to the House of Representatives no later than |
| 10 |
| January 1, 2010; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The council needs additional time to complete its |
| 12 |
| work; therefore, be it
|
| 13 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 |
| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 15 |
| the council created by House Resolution 1059 of the 95th |
| 16 |
| General Assembly shall report its finding and recommendations |
| 17 |
| to the House of Representatives no later than January 1, 2011; |
| 18 |
| and be it further
|
| 19 |
| RESOLVED, That with this reporting extension, the council |
| 20 |
| shall continue to operate pursuant to House Resolution 1059 of |
| 21 |
| the 95th General Assembly.
